About this course

Mandala Art

Join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the installation of Radha Gokulananda at the Bhaktivedanta Manor by taking part in an incredible dot mandala painting experience.

During this event, we will collectively create a stunning 1m x 1m beautiful painting depicting the divine figures of Radha & Krishna, along with a cow, peacock, birds, and a tree. Your participation in this creative endeavour will not only help produce an eye-catching artwork to be displayed at the Manor but also play an important role in marking this very auspicious occasion.  You’ll also experience the profound beauty of mandalas in art therapy and have a lot of fun in the process! This type of specialist artwork requires high quality paints, tools and essential items – the cost of these are included in the course price. However, we kindly request participants to bring with them a full pack of cotton wool buds and wet wipes (for corrections).

Led by the inspired artist Prity Rao-Bullock, this workshop will guide you in painting layered wooden pieces adorned with vibrant dot mandalas. You don’t need to be an expert, but a passion for art and a keen eye for detail are welcomed. This activity promises to be very unique, enjoyable and engaging experience where you will have the opportunity to learn various styles of this exquisite art form.

If you’d like to see examples of Prity’s work, you can visit her Instagram page at https://www.instagram.com/prity_rocks or her Etsy shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/PrityRocksCreations.

There is a minimum age limit of 16 years for this particular course. This course is split into two groups (morning session and separate afternoon session), with each group having a maximum of 12 participants.  Spaces for this event are limited, so we encourage you to secure your spot by booking soon.

We’re excited to serve with you in this amazing opportunity in service to Sri Sri Radha Gokulanda!

Special thanks and acknowledgement to Vanita Rao for creating the digital art for this event (black and white Radha Krishna image on poster which we will be painting in this workshop)

Due to space constraints in the room, any friends or family accompanying the registered participant are kindly requested to wait outside the room and enjoy spending time around the Manor. Thank you

It’s been a great joy and pleasure to work with so many wonderful people and Priti over several weeks doing dotting art mandala.

Thank you Priti for sharing this beautiful gift, it truly is special and unique. I’m very grateful for all your support, hard work and dedication throughout the entire process.

The timing was great as we embarked on this wonderful journey together creating a master piece for the 50th Anniversary of the installation of Radha Gokulananda.

What a beautiful course! Not only was it an opportunity to learn a new art skill , it was also an opportunity to serve. Such a unique combination of doing art and serve together as a group.

I never knew mandala art could be so meditative. Every class was a delight to attend. The whole group worked attentively and Prity’s attention to detail was commendable. Her intent to always give her best and bring the best out of us was amazing. It made me want to do better every time. My son had joined the class with me and I found him enjoying the class a lot. He was eager to go every week and contribute.

It was a privilege to be able to work with you Prity. Thank you for teaching us a beautiful skill and allowing us to be part of a higher purpose.

I would love to do it again and would recommend friends and family to join too.

Lovely class, fabulous teacher and amazing fun. This class was great, learnt lots of skills and Prity had an awesome hands on approach to teaching. I found it to be an escapism from life projecting us in to a form of meditation whilst creating our piece of art. All the students in the class were lovely and we created great friendships, making the class even more privileged.

Thank you Prity

Prayer, Love, beauty, friendship and generosity of spirit pervaded the atmosphere as we embarked on this auspicious project. It was a labour of Love and devotion and what we learnt was quickly put into practice with a feeling of satisfaction. It has been such a nourishing and honouring experience to be a part of this beautiful expression of Divinty in form through dotting. Thank you Prity for sharing your gift of dotting mandala with us so generously, providing us with tools and skills and much more than can be verbalised.
