About this course
School of Bhakti is offering a unique session with Dr Urmila Best
For those who want to balance their spiritual practices with the rest of their lives, or who want to go further and fully spiritualize all that they do, Krishna Meditations gives a solution in a richly illustrated guide of hundreds of short meditations. In just a few minutes each day, readers can choose any of these mediations and paintings as a springboard for their own reflections and inspiration. Readers can thus transform everything they see, hear, smell, touch, taste, or think about into an opportunity to connect with Krishna in loving devotion. It is divided into four sections, based on the verses in the Bhagavad-Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, and Bhaktirasamritasindhu that describe how Krishna can be found in what is apparently mundane and ordinary.
“At every stage of life, who can avoid the sunlight, the moonlight, the fragrance of the flower, the taste of the water, the sound of the sky, and so on; but one has to learn it, that there is Krishna in all these varieties of existence. Without Krishna there is nothing. It is simply by the influence of Maya that we forget the relationship of Krishna with everything that be.” – Srila Prabhupada, letter 1967
