Are you aspiring to be a teacher who would like to take up services that involve teaching, facilitation and devotee care? Are you an experienced teacher who is looking to enhance your facilitation skills?
The School of Bhakti’s 2023 Facilitator Hub Programme may be what you are looking for.
The goals of the programme are to:
- Inspire participants to teach spiritual courses, sessions & sanghas effectively through a structured & comprehensive program that combines:
- Vaishnava pedagogy
- Knowledge, skills and attitude required for a spiritual teacher/facilitator
- Serve as a platform to exchange ideas, innovations, develop & deliver content for Krishna conscious education & teaching
It is a 6-month programme with regular weekly virtual sessions on Wednesdays and hybrid workshops on some Saturdays.
The sessions, which would be taken by experienced facilitators from the School of Bhakti and ISKCON will cover topics such as the art of storytelling, finding your own unique facilitation style, tailoring sessions to different audiences, how to write learning objectives and how to handle difficult topics and questions. They will draw from Prabhupada’s books and scriptures.
As requirements for joining the Hub, you should have studied the Bhagavad Gita and be familiar with the Srimad Bhagavatham and Chaitanya Charitamrta and are following spiritual practices regularly.
